Wells of Life
GIVE: ONE WELL IN UGANDA
Provide clean water to 1,000 people for up to 20 yrs!

In Uganda, 10 million people still don't have clean drinking water.  Imagine your drinking water comes from a stream shared with animals. Imagine walking miles—literally miles—every day, hauling water in order to survive...and this water is filthy, loaded with parasites.

But one well changes that.

Wells of Life runs a tight, stream-lined, hands-on operation. They build wells in Uganda, working with a local pastor and local, trusted contacts as they expand. Focusing on one geographical area at a time enables them to be extremely efficient with time, resources, equipment and training. And every penny of your donation goes directly to funding a well.

You can personally donate to provide wells in Uganda.  But EVEN BETTER, get your company, group of friends, family or church group involved!

YOU CAN EVEN NAME THE WELL YOU FUND!

One well--from start to finish--costs just $6,000.  That's it.  And, every penny of your donation to Wells of Life goes to building a well.  EVERY . SINGLE. PENNY.  Admin costs are raised separately, so none of YOUR donation goes anywhere else but to build a well of fresh, clean, water that will serve 1,000 Ugandan villagers for up to 20 years!

New History Textbooks
GIVE: BEAUTIFUL, ACCURATE HISTORY TEXTBOOKS
Provide an accurate understanding of history to our future generation of leaders

It might be surprising to discover, but kids aren't learning the same history your parents did... They're not even learning the same history you did!  We just happen to live in an era where "political correctness" is perceived as more important than "reality" and "accurate historical facts."  But these textbooks are different.  Superb in well-researched, historically accurate content, they are also written in a journalistic style that engages students to want to keep on reading the story.

Written primarily for students in Catholic schools, the content of these history textbooks stands on its own merits, and is highly praised by secular university professors, by California's librarian emeritus Kevin Starr, and by principals, teachers, parents, even students!

In the words of Jeffrey Burton Russell, Professor of History, Emeritus,

University of California, Santa Barbara:

“Other middle and high-school history textbooks lack the qualities that Catholic Textbook Project’s offer… beautifully and clearly presented. Without proselytizing, and without pressing any worldview other than the importance of understanding the past…

“Teachers and students who use the Catholic Textbook Project series will be happy to know that  in college its readers will know more about history than many of their professors as well as most of their classmates.”

With five textbooks completed and in use in middle schools and high schools nationwide and internationally, the nonprofit is in the process of raising just shy of $495,000 to produce textbooks for the early grades, Grade K-4. So far $96,500 has been raised, enough to begin working on grade 4, but $398,500 is still needed (Just FYI, the Generosity.com page indicates far less to encourage donations).

Family in Need
GIVE: ONE STRUGGLING FAMILY A HOME

While we buy for our own families, here's one family in the U.S. that could use some help

Some people prefer to give to a family.  This family has been chosen and vetted carefully. They manage their finances meticulously and are not frivolous in any way.  Yet a period of unemployment and mounting health issues make their circumstances more urgent than they can manage at the moment.   Read their story and see slides of their situation using the button below.

Life Center and Clinic
GIVE: HELP TO UNBORN BABIES & THEIR PARENTS
Located in a college town, a highly effective clinic

Founded in 2005, days after the burial of Pope St. John Paul II, it took five years of intense planning and challenging work before the doors of the John Paul II Life Center and Vitae Clinic were finally opened in Austin, Texas, in 2010.  Since then, hundreds of babies have been saved. In addition, the organization has become an anchor for restoring a culture of life in many ways—providing wellness, prenatal, delivery, and postnatal care for women, expectant mothers and babies; fostering the establishment of other Pro-Life entities;  hosting hugely popular chastity challenges; encouraging prayer for those trhreatened or hurt by abortion; providing an excellent medical clinic directed by a physician OB-GYN who is trained in NaPro TECHNOLOGY and much more.  The organization works with other entities, in other locations nationwide, to duplicate its remarkable success.

"The Gospel of Life is both a great gift of God and an exacting task for humanity," Pope St. John Paul II said. "In giving life to man, God demands that he love, respect and promote life."
